Mental Health Care for All Abilities

we believe every person deserves a healthy and happy mind, no matter their ability. People with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) can feel stress, worry, sadness, or other tough emotions—just like everyone else.

That’s why our Mental Health Services are specially created for individuals with IDD. We meet folks where they are and use clear words, patience, and kindness through every conversation and activity.

You’re Not Alone

Everyone can face tough mental health moments. With the right support, people with intellectual and developmental disabilities can learn healthy coping skills, grow in confidence, and enjoy a better quality of life. We’re here to help.

Here’s How We Support You

We provide personal, one-on-one sessions in a calm, safe space. Each person’s communication style, comfort level, and learning needs guide how we talk, move through time, and pause for questions. We go slow, speak clearly, and always respect everyone—so every voice is heard.
We help people spot and understand their feelings and thoughts using simple words and real-life examples. We practice self-calming methods, daily routines to try, and simple ways to ask for help.
We team up with mothers, fathers, siblings, and staff—showing them how to see signs of sadness or worry, and how to respond with gentle support. We also share tips for caregivers to manage their own stress, so they feel a little lighter, too.
When a person finds it hard to manage strong feelings or certain habits, we design positive plans built on their strengths. Every plan centers on the person, nurturing trust, stability, and growth.
For many people with disabilities, trauma can come from medical visits, bullying, or lack of support. In every interaction, we carefully consider these tough memories, responding with kindness, patience, and respect.

  • Safe & Welcoming: No judgment here; just a caring space where individuals are truly seen.
